The Perfect Weekend...Easter and the Masters

We've been having some computer issues lately so I haven't been able to update the blog. But, I didn't want to miss posting a few pictures of Mae's first Easter...and very first Masters weekend. This year, Jason was able to go to the practice rounds and first round in Augusta. He even brought back some lovely Masters apparel for us.

Mae looked beautiful in her Easter dress and we really enjoyed a wonderful morning at church followed by a good lunch with friends and Jason's mom who was in town. What a special weekend!

Two Months!

Mae turned two months the week before last and it's just taken me that long to update the blog. We've had a busy couple weeks! We had her two month appointment and found out that she weighs 11 lbs 1 oz and is 22 1/2 inches long. She also got her first round of shots and actually handled it pretty well after only a minute or two screaming. Since she's getting a little bigger, she's also been sleeping a little better. We get about 6 good hours a night now which is definitely nice.

My sister also came for her entire spring break and stayed with us for a week! It was SO much fun to have her here. We miss you already, Susan!! My brother, Sam, also came for a few days and my parents joined us for the weekend. It was the first time we were all together with Mae. We really appreciate all of them coming out!

Mae's also smiling all the time-- well, not all the time but very often especially after we make ridiculous faces and noises to coax them out of her. It's so worth it!

She started using her Bebe Pod seat last week. She can actually do it pretty well and really seems to like it. I'm impressed!

Tex also likes the seat since it's at the perfect height for him to give her some kisses...and mom is distracted with the camera.

This picture is from a couple weeks ago. It's of the three little girls in our supper club-- Saylor Smith, Mae and Caroline Krauss (James Dunlap was missing in action).
